Fattoria Palaia: Reviews & Ratings
We booked a cheese and wine tour on air BNB. Anna was the sweetest host and we loved the sunset views. We even met lulu the dog who was an adorable ball of energy. It was a great night!
Came here for the lunch portion of our winery tour. Roberto, the owner of this 300 year old estate, was very kind and welcoming. Maria, who was both a driver and chef was incredible. The spread that they prepared was phenomenal. They did well to accommodate my vegetarian diet and the two non-drinkers with us (they had a couple non-alcoholic wines available during the lunch).
The people where the best part Tommy picks you up in Florence and is absolutely a gentleman ! Ana is such a sweetheart and loving and Leo is just full of incredible knowledge and wit ! This is a must go to I insist seriously worth the trip time and money ! Thank you guys at the vineyard and Roberto leggenda !

This historic 300-year-old estate offers more than just wine; it presents an immersive experience that intertwines rich tradition, warm hospitality, and authentic agritourism. From the moment you arrive, whether greeted by Roberto, the kind and welcoming owner, or by the lively energy of Lulu the dog, you sense the genuine passion behind this vineyard and farm.
The highlight of any visit here is the seamless blend of wine, food, and culture. The cheese and wine tours, often hosted by Anna, deliver stunning sunset views paired with locally crafted wines that speak of the terroir’s character. The food is no less impressive. The culinary offerings, especially from Maria, the chef and driver, are thoughtfully prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Vegetarians and non-drinkers alike will find themselves well accommodated — with flavorful spreads and delicate non-alcoholic wine options that make every bite memorable.
